"Songs matter because stories matter because people matter."
-Rhyan Shirley

Songwriting for beginners.
$100/1hr session
First of all…
Congratulations.
By investing in yourself and your songwriting, you've already taken the biggest step—from saying, "I wish I could write songs," to confidently saying, "I'm a songwriter."
This course is designed specifically for beginners and is taught one-on-one, so every lesson is tailored to you—your goals, your strengths, and your unique voice. All you'll need is a computer, an internet connection, and the free version of Zoom.
Over the next four weeks, we'll build your songwriting foundation together.
Week One
The Foundation
Learn the building blocks of great songwriting and why they matter.
Week Two
Lyrics & Melody
We'll explore how words and melody work together to create songs that connect.
Week Three
The Rewrite
Discover why rewriting is one of the most valuable skills a songwriter can develop.
Week Four
Bringing It All Together
We'll finish your song and talk about the next steps in your songwriting journey.
One thing that's important to know: everything you write in this course belongs to you. I don't take a percentage of your writer's share, publishing, or master recording. My job is to give you the tools, knowledge, and confidence to become the strongest songwriter you can be.
Most importantly, this is a safe place to learn. There are no stupid questions, and you're never too young—or too old—to start writing songs.
I'm excited to help you discover what you're capable of.
Let's write your first—or your next—great song.
Song Consulting & Co-Writing
$150/1.5hr session
Great songwriters never stop learning.
Whether you've been writing for six months or six years, every song has the potential to become something even stronger. If you're looking for honest feedback, fresh ideas, and a professional perspective, this session is for you.
During this 90-minute one-on-one session, we'll take a deep dive into your song. Together we'll evaluate the lyric, melody, concept, structure, and overall emotional impact. We'll also explore your "what" and "why" as a writer, identify opportunities to strengthen the song, and discuss practical next steps for your career.
Because this session goes beyond coaching and often includes collaborative writing and creative contributions, I retain 10% of the writer's share for songs we actively co-write or help reshape together. You retain 90% of the writer's share, along with 100% of your publishing and 100% ownership of your master recording.
My goal isn't to change your voice—it's to help you refine it.
Let's take your song from good to unforgettable.

Co-writing Session
$200/song
Ready to write your next song together?
I'd love to be part of your creative process.
Whether you're an artist looking for your next release or a songwriter wanting to sharpen your craft, this collaborative session is designed to help you create a song you're proud of.
Each co-writing session lasts approximately three hours, giving us the time to develop a strong concept, write meaningful lyrics, craft memorable melodies, and leave with a song that feels authentic to your voice.
Rather than relying solely on the uncertain income that comes from streaming and future royalties, I charge a flat creative session fee, much like hiring a session musician or producer. This allows me to dedicate my full attention to our writing session while continuing to invest in the quality and sustainability of my work.
My goal is simple: to bring my years of professional songwriting experience to your project while creating an environment that's collaborative, encouraging, and creatively inspiring.
Let's write something you're excited to share with the world.
Writing for Sync
$350
Write with Purpose. Pitch with Potential.
Have you ever dreamed of hearing a song you wrote on TV or in a film?
This session is designed specifically for songwriters who want to learn how to write intentionally for television, film, and commercial placement.
Together, we'll co-write a song from the ground up while discussing what music supervisors, sync agencies, and production companies are looking for in today's market. You'll learn how to write with sync in mind—from lyric concepts and structure to production direction and commercial viability.
Unlike a traditional co-write, these sessions are built around creating music with licensing potential.
If, at the end of our session, we create a song that I genuinely believe is competitive for the sync market, I'll personally pitch it through my own sync relationships and catalog.
Please note: Booking a session does not guarantee a placement or that your song will be pitched. My goal is to create the strongest song possible, and I will only submit songs that I believe are ready for the marketplace.
This session includes:
-
A one-on-one co-writing session
-
Education on writing specifically for TV & Film
-
Commercial song development
-
Honest feedback throughout the writing process
-
The opportunity to have your song considered for pitching if it meets current sync standards
Important Before Booking
Because of the way music licensing works, all Sync Writing Session clients are required to review and sign our Sync Writing Agreement before purchasing a session.
This document explains:
-
Writer's share vs. publisher's share
-
Master ownership
-
How one-stop licensing works
-
Why independent writers are required for most sync opportunities
-
Publishing and administration agreements
-
How placements, royalties, and sync fees may be handled
Please review and sign the agreement before booking your session.

Please Note: If you have signed an exclusive publishing agreement or a publishing administration agreement, you may not be eligible for a Sync Writing Session. Most music supervisors and sync companies require songs to be one-stop, meaning all publishing, administration, and master rights can be cleared quickly through one team. Please review the agreement before booking to determine your eligibility.
